FREQUENTLY ASKED EXTENSION QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAND TIED WEFTS AND VANISH WEFTS?
All weft extensions are applied by feeding your natural hair through a silicone lined bead and then sewing the wefts to the beads. The difference between hand tied, machine tied and Vanish Wefts is how the extension hair itself is attached to its seam. Generally speaking, hand tied wefts lay flat and are best for fine hair, machine tied wefts are bulkier and therefore best for thick hair..while Vanish wefts lay flat and are a great option for all hair types. Single strand beaded extensions are applied by taking individual wefts of your own hair and attaching it to individual wefts of extensions in the same diameter and then securing that with individual beads. I use this method in combination with one of the beaded weft methods to fill in sparse areas (combo method).
